Two vacancies on Thimbleby Parish Council can be filled by co-option.
Join the parish council as a parish councillor if you are aged 18 and above and a British, Commonwealth or EU citizen and one of the following applies
- Registered as a local government elector for Thimbleby on the current Electoral Register, or
- Has during the whole of the previous 12 months occupied as tenant or owner of any land or other premises in Thimbleby, or
- His/her principal or only place of work in the previous 12 months has been in Thimbleby, or.
- Has resided either in Thimbleby or within 3 miles thereof during the whole of the previous 12 months..
You do not have to have any other qualifications or experience to be a parish councillor just an interest in helping and representing the community.
