Dog mess penalty fines
Bag It and Bin It - don't leave it behind

A number of reports of dog mess being left in Thimbleby have been reported to East Lindsey District Council. Find out how to help here.

Responsible dog owners always carry a dog poo bag and do not leave their dog's mess behind.

Regrettably a few irresponsible dog owners are not so considerate.

As well as leaving the mess for othrs to clear up it can also affect people's enjoyment of their property, land, clothing and footwear as well as posing a health risk particularly for children and the vulnerable.

East Lindsey District Council's Environmental Health Team are patrolling the area from time to time.

Residents are encouraged to report areas of dog mess and if they witness any incidents to report the dog owner.

Penalty fines of £100 can be applied by East Lindsey District Council.
