The Parish Council publishes its accounts and opens its books for inspection to the public for 6 weeks.
At its extraordinary meeting on 29th June 2026 Thimbleby Parish Council approved its accounts and governance return for the 2025-26 financial year.
For 6 weeks from 1st July electors and residents can ask to see the accounts, contracts, invoices and other relevant documents relating to the financial year's accounts.
If necessary they may raise questions to the External Auditor to look into matters felt they need investigation as to their lawfulness. .
