I hereby summons you to the Parish Council Meeting of Thimbleby Parish Council on 8th January 2025 starting at 6.45pm with a public participation period of up to 15 minutes prior to the parish council meeting starting at 7.00pm in Thimbleby Village Hall.  If you cannot attend, please notify me with a reason for your absence.   The agenda is below.

3. To adopt the draft minutes from the Parish Council meeting held on 6th November 2024.
 
4. To consider any matters arising from the previous meetings 6th November 2024 not already on this agenda including Clerk’s Report and actions taken.
 
5. A) To consider amendments to the Co-option Policy and Procedure                  B) To consider any written applications for co-option and motions to co-opt applicants and signing of Declarations of Acceptance of Office. 
 
6. Election of Chair of Thimbleby Parish Council until Annual Meeting May 2025 (if temporary appointments end creating a vacancy in the role).

9. To receive written and verbal reports from ELDC & LCC Councillors
 
10. To consider any highways, footpath and related issues.
a) To receive an update on the Council’s Community Speed Watch.
b) To receive updates and consider any relevant information about maintenance regarding the Thimbleby Speed Indicator Devices.
c) To receive updates on the installation of the replacement noticeboard.
d) To consider a resident’s concerns about refuse bins permanently on footpaths
e) To consider footpath issues from raised by some residents via a local Facebook group
f) To consider the ELDC Officer’s comments regarding the location of bins in Thimbleby and placing of unofficial bins in the parish. 
 
11. Finance
a) To approve the payment of bills paid between meetings and bills to pay on the payment schedule. 
b) To note the bank reconciliation and account balance. 
c) To consider changes to the bank signatory mandate.
d) To consider any grants and donations for 2024/25 financial year.
d) To consider draft budget and precept for 2025-26. 
 
12. To approve any bookings for training and potential costs.
