To consider comments submitted in respect of new ELDC planning applications responded to between meetings and new applications and to receive updates on progress of previously considered applications:

  • Application reference 03438/25/OUT Planning Permission - Outline erection of up to 200 dwellings, with demolition of existing farm buildings, associated access, play area, public open space, landscaping and biodiversity enhancement (with means of access to be considered).

  1. To consider any highways, footpath and related issues and agree actions to be taken.

  1. To approve the payment of bills paid between meetings and bills to pay on the payment schedule.
  2. To note the bank reconciliation and account balance.

 

  1. To consider the following draft policies for adoption:

a)         Grievance policy

b)         Workload monitoring and additional hours procedure and authorisation form

c)         Monthly work record procedure and recording form

d)         Annual leave procedure and request form

e)         Allowances and expenses policy and claim forms

f)         To consider changes to the communications policy and review social media presence and Council communication via social media channels

  1. That Standing Order 15(a) be amended to read as follows:

“15a The Proper Officer shall be either (i) the clerk, (ii) other staff member(s), or (iii) an unpaid Council Member nominated by the Council to undertake the work of the Proper Officer when the Proper Officer is absent.

  1. To consider options for the replacement noticeboard.
  2. To receive an update on Community Speedwatch.
  3. To receive an update on the Village Pump and Wall contracted works.
  4. To consider the draft copy and distribution of the Parish Council newsletter and consider the quotations for the printing of the newsletter.
  5. To approve any bookings for training.
  6. To consider the placing of public participation period on the agenda for future meetings.
  7. To consider items for the next meeting on Wednesday 9th September 2026.
